Hey USMarine

More tackle and perhaps a Nitro would put fish in the boat? popcorn

Not sure a POS Nitro would help but I am sure additional tackle will help. May be I should have purchased a Humminbird instead. I observed Salsa or Mrs. Salsa on the lake or at least their cozy cabin boat. Maybe I should follow them around.

Try calling them up. Beat on the bottom of the boat like a mad man. It will bring in the fish and make them bite!

got to try this boat beating idea. Should have bought a Nitro and then I wouldn't worry about beating on it. Seriously though, I have to try tapping on the boat.

Boat speed, depth, the way you present your lure, size of bait ,and color can all make a big deal too .I would not get behind a Guide they more than likley have all the fish called under their Boat.If you get a chance ,if you see someone post up split a trip with a Guide jump on it.It will help you put all the peices together.

I feel your pain! I had the same saga going up to Texoma. I was in the kayak though but same problem: I see the fish, I'm using what I know is catching fish but nothing was working. I was in control of everything....but the fish. They'll bite when they bite. It's very frustrating but stick with it.

Your graph looks great! In the second pic (depth shows 42.1 ft.) It looks like fish in the 38ft area. What I have been shown is to take your line at the reel and pull it with your hand to the first eye socket. That is two (2) feet. So count it down 19 pulls and you should be there (or very near there). Once someone told me how to get my lure to a certain depth - it helped ALOT!

Your sonar looks awesome! Do you know what your settings are on your 2d? Mine looks nothing near that good.

I like the updated graph pix. For sure there's some fish on the graph. Wouldn't say it's just loaded up, but you can tell exactly what depth to put that lure. I'm fairly confident you should be able to see you're lure also on the graph, might take a little adjusting of the lure placement but then you'll know for sure!!

Keep going.
Good luck
Mike
