I have another set up a all silver 5500 C3 and a ugly stick catfish rod it has caught 2 fish a 25 and a 35 and did good. I have a pro angler reel that is bigger but it is broken. will not retreive unless you jerk with it.

If I have a MH meat stick (medium heavy differs from diff rods) I just like to match a reel to it. I'd have at least a 6500 or better.
