The Ranger Dealership has Mex license, you also need permit from parks service. Good luck guys!

It is not a launch permit but a lake permit. You have to have it on your possession if you get stopped.

Get the permit at the Rangers station. Its right off the HWY on the way to the ramp from DelRio.And you do not have to pay to launch after that

I did not know that either, can that be purchased at the ramp where you buy the 4 dollar launch fee?

Good luck Justin. I'm headed down there with Justin on Sunday and can't wait. Never been there before. Should prove to be a great week of fishing and tournament.

The permit is for the boat. If you are old like me you can get a annual permit for $20.00 and you get a sticker for your boat and trailer. I think the old folks age is 60 years old. Go to national park service Amistad lake.

so co anglers would need that too? Just like Don stated it is a lake not launch permit, and it follows the boater who must have it on his person not left in the truck. The National Park Service is open 7 days a week from 8-5 and either a daily permit for $4 up to 7 days ($28) can be purchased or an annual permit (sticker goes on boat and trailer) for $40. The pay stations are located at the Pecos, Rough Canyon, Diablo East and Box Canyon, which sometimes are not reliable. See you all there ! Debra

Gonna fish Amistad for three days/, pre fishing for Everstart next week. Anyone else going this week just holler at me. im staying at the La Quinta in Del Rio. I will be in a red/white/black wrapped basscat. I will try to send reports and pics everyday. I've never fished this lake before, so we will see how things go. Ax'em Justin.
