Biggest for me was 19" caught from Lake Belton when I was 10 yrs old. Dad didn't weigh it, just measured and then we ate it. Here's four caught one day last year that went 8.7lbs. l to r 2.08, 2.31, 1.98, 2.33

I have caught two over 3#, crazy thing is I caught them off the same brush pile on the same day! I was by myself so I didn't get a pic but it was an awesome day. The two in this pic are from the best day I have ever had, Robert (Crazy Angler) and me caught over 200 crappie this day and we had a pile of fish over 2#. The first spot we fished we caught 86 crappie and left them biting! It was a day I will certainly never forget. Here is Robert holding up two of the better fish from that day.  Clay A day I'll never forget in the top 5 days of my life for sure!I've reviewed all my logs and the other super days I've had like last summer with the !5 lbs plus stringer and theirs no relation as far as weather went there was lake similarities though ! good news is this year we could have a repeat!I'd have given my right arm if you had not lost that 1 fish this day,couldn't have had a day with a better person Clay. GOD Bless

I wish I had pics of my two biggest. All these years of crappie guiding and we catch about one or two 3 pounders per year and take pics of them. I also caught and did a rod pass on the current lake record here of 3.14lbs, while shooting docks with customers.
My two biggest however was before I started guiding and they were from a 9 acre pond if that counts. They both measured 17.5 inches and 18.25 inches. I didnt weigh them. If I had known how rare that was I'd mounted both of them.
We've just missed the lake record here several times but hopefully this will be the year we break it again. Sorry Chuck, I'm smoking that record this spring. If your nice, I might tell you the depth & lure used but I might or might not be telling the truth if I do.

You guys sure have caught some big'uns. My biggest was from Texoma a little over 2 lbs.

these were from last year. they weighed 6.5 pounds total  this a 2.9 the on on the left is a 11 inch fish for prospective
