There's a pond just east of Lake Forest right before Glen Oaks, I think its called Nora Haney Park. There's a pond to the west of lake forest but that belongs to the golf coarse.
Does anybody have any info on what kind of fish are in there and if there are, what seems to work?

Golf course has giants. Never fished the pond you are talking about but I have seen it. You probably cant go wrong with a baby brush hog or senko in watermelon-red, or a spinnerbait.

Lots of lmb. However, its stonebridge ranch HOA members only. Security guy will come around and ask for your HOA ID then tell you to leave if you dont produce one.

Thank you foe the information. I've fished other ponds in that area, so it wouldn't be the first time I've been asked to leave lol. The golf course pond... I may have to check that out. Thanks again for the heads up.

Aint no fish in these ponds...But remember, if you are to venture over here and dont live here, this is very private property!

Plus, I don't have to live there. My brother foes and he's pays for that HOA service. I was only wanting to know if we should fish there or not. Sheesh.
I'm not one of the type to fish where I shouldn't. I have before but that area security is normally pretty good at keeping an eye on these ponds which I appreciate. Every time I've been there without my brother I've been politely asked to leave, in which I do. I haven't fish over there in years though. That's was the whole point of me asking is so I could take my brother to find some good fish. Of you look at ny pics you can see I don't have a problem catching descent bass in my own neighborhood.

I would agree with you in most cases. There's alot of people out there that do not respect others when it comes to "private" or "exclusive" use. I used to go out there all the time many years ago to the ponds off in the houses. Always caught well and never took a single fish out of there. I was doing it for fun. My uncle lived there so I had an easy in. Then they changed their policy a little and made it alot harder for me to get in there which is fine. It didn't bother me all that much as I was a guest and not a resident. My brother has been wanted to catch some bigger bass but since he has 2 kids it's not always easy for me to take him out on the lake with my boat. I asked him if he had ever fished those ponds and he said no because he doesn't think there's anything in there. I want to get him out there especially since he lives so close to them and this way he may be able to catch some descent fish and we can still spend some brother time together as we don't generally get to much these days.
Thank you for the information. I'm not going to fish them by myself, but if my brother wants to go, I'll gladly join him.
