I fish RC quite often and it can be a great lake. It has a very healthy population of bass but like others have said it can be on like donkey kong one day and the next they are nowhere to be found. Most fish like to stay deep but if u can find grass in the spring or summer u will most likely find fish. Boat docks can be key if they have more than a couple feet of water.

About the only thing RC is good for is pumping water in the pipeline to Eagle Mountain.

Yes it can be tough , but that makes it fun...I grew up fishing that lake thats why when i go to other lakes its to easy to catch bass.

It takes some time to learn . But it has a good amount of keeper fish. Here is the results of Media tournament in 2011. http://www.mediabass.com/2k11/TX/CENTRAL/4.shtmlThe C.A.S.T. tournament there last year was won with a weight close to 32lbs .
