Looks like everyone has caught some good fish lately. Lewisville turned on today. Tom and I caught a total of 10 nice hybrids late this afternoon. Conditions were great! Here is a picture from today with my largest to date hybrid from LL. It was 25 1/4 inches. All fish CPR'D.

We caught them on various colored jigs with shassy shad type plastics. Burnt orange jighead was the prefered color of the day. They all came from 28 to 35 feet deep. I also caught a solid 17 inch sand bass. It was like what you catch at Tawakoni!

Beautiful fish! I've got to get over there one of these days with the kayak.

Great job man. I may hit the water tomorrow. Sounds like you have them dialed in.

How was the day at Texoma Striper Swiper? Did you get out with bill? It was slow today. We had fun though. My son caught his first Texoma striper. A 19 pounder.

Dicster, yes we were primarily dead sticking. I always like to cast and drag the bottom some just to see and I did catch a few sandies doing that. They hooked up on the bottom in 42 feet of water. Todd, TP&W says a "big" sand bass is only 15 inches. Now if I can only luck into a 15 inch "big" crappie.
