vicious elite fluoro. It's cost effective, excellent abrasion resistance, soft for fluoru, small diameter and you'll have to put trollin' motor on high to break 12 lb when you snag a jig. I've tried the rest and by far, this is the best value. BY FAR.

I've been using Tatsu for 1 1/2 years now. Once you get over the initial shock of price, it's the best I have found. I can leave it on a reel for a year & it will not rot. The other brands, I was lucky to get 30 days out of it. I had descent luck with Vicious, didn't seem to have any line rot problems. The memory was to bad & it seemed like the line was thicker than the rest. Line rot was my biggest problem with Floro. The Tatsu last & last. It's much cheaper in the long run.

On a cesspool like Conroe where the water is stained mono is all you need. Flouro is just waisting money.

I had been using BassPro's brand for a long time, mainly because of how much I use, and it's cost was much less with great quality.
Now, it cost as much as all the rest.

I use the 100% Berkley now and like it very much; it's tuff and can handled some big fish on Fork in timber.
I like InvisX too except for one thing, it stretches TOO MUCH, if you or a decent fish pulls it hard and you get that stretch the line twist is unmanageable- IMO-mostly on lighter lb test 8-12.lb, and my drag is prolly set to strong, but it has to be to get those fish out of cover, I don't have that issue with the Berkley, it's knot strength is very good too..JM2C's

Seaguar red label is GARBAGE. No doubt the worst line ive ever used. I use berkley trilene or sunline shooter

I like Vicious, a lot of people say it has a lot of memory but I haven't had any problems with it. I would say try it and see for yourself. GET VICIOUS!

I currently use the cajun 100% as I got it on sale last year from cabelas for about 5 bucks a spool. I have had no problems with it. The seagar red label is super stretchy, the vanish and low end vicious in very rigid and even though I have never had an issue with it, the horror stories have kept me away from it recently. The sunline sniper, p-line, invisx and other premium fluoros are all great lines with slightly different characteristics. The best justification for paying for the premium stuff is that it performs and casts better and will last longer on the spool. I have not yet tried sunline shooter, but after all the good reports I hear, I will be trying that soon.

Doesn't get much play on the forums, but McCoy 100% is really good stuff. It's not quite as manageable as Invisx, but not many 100%'s are.

+ 1 Invisx has more stretch than mono.
