The boys are just having some fun! ha ha
Ok back to talking about bass hunter boats.
Anyone got any ideas on how to hook up some nice rod holders on a Bass Hunter for trolling?
Really dont want to drill into mine, its old and the plastic is weak.

I built a lame PVC rod holder that worked.
I am open for suggestions.

I used a 8" by 20" piece of plywood and some two inch pipe.
The key to trolling is getting the rod tips as far away from each other as possible. This keeps the crank baits (if you are lucky)maybe three feet apart. The closer the rods are the closer the baits run.

Ok, I know yall will laugh at this as i would if it didnt happen to me so im ok with it, but i have an important question. I have a water tender, the under 10ft version. How do i dock it on shore and not fall out of it again? I know that is a stupid question but i am really serious, i fell out of mine last trip and i dont want to go through that again. on top of falling over the side as i was trying to walk out of the rear of the boat, my eyes were blood red because of a contact lens issue i was having. So, all the people that came to my aide that i was drunk, high or a combination of both. They wanted to know if i was ok to drive, one guy even offered to drive or follow me home. oh btw i lost two of my 7 fish , it was a rough day. so any advice that yall can give a klutzy fool like myself would be helpful.

Your boat has the tri hull huh?
The boats most of us have are flat on the bottom so we can just run them up to the bank on full power, pull up the motor at the last moment, then step off the boat onto the shore.
With a Tri hull bottom,I would suggest rubber boots, might have to get in the water.

Ash not going to laugh at all 4 weeks ago I fell out of my 8ft and it was not at the doc I was putting a rope on a bridge pillar to hold me in place and leaned to far out of the boat and I went one way and the boat went the other way. I was in 20ft of water. I was able to grab the boat and used it to keep me up. Now I can swim but that water was getting cold fast. A boat that was fishing under the same bridge helped me to the bank with a tow rope that I had on my boat. I lost a Iphone to the water but that was all. As to at the boat dock or bank I use my paddle to steady my self use it like a crutch. Exit at the front of the boat. I also don't stand up at the back of the boat try to keep the center of gravity low. I gota say I don't put on a life jacket and this day I was glad I was able to get to the boat and hang on to it. Now that it is cold I put the life jacket on but this summer I wont wont it on so I think I just may d ring a rope from the boat to me so if I fall in I can get the boat back and use it. Now that I got a new Iphone and spent the $80.00 for the water proof case I think about the day every time I go out on the boat.

Thanks DPJ, your experience makes me thankful that I was so close to the shore. My water was about 6 foot deep. I was able to walk up the boat ramp but tripped over the ledge of it, all in all it sucked. my IPhone started powering on and off but after a few hours in a bag of rice it started working good again. I considered the ore as a crutch method and even considered using an actual crutch. I had a really old life jacket on and to be honest it didn't do the best job. It has been stored in a bass boat for a few years exposed to the elements so i think it was useless. If it had been deeper i would have been in trouble. I called my father on my way home and later that week he surprised me with a great PFD that has pockets all over it and is comfortable to wear all day. I am glad someone was there to help you, i hope nothing like that happens again.
