Bill Murphy fished primarily farther south--mostly San Diego area, including Dixon Lake (same lake that Mac Weakley foul hooked the 25 pounder.

Spring Lake (where Duclos caught his 24 pounder) is the same lake that Leaha Trew, while fishing from an inflatable raft caught her reported 22 pounder

I got to give it to Bill, his way of catching bass is outstanding. I have had some of my best days fishing "stitching" a little worm. The bite is so lite that it freaks you out thinking how many fish you've had on over the years and never knew it.

I've got a zebco rod made of diamonds with a zebco push button reel that has been made by Zues himself. Mere mortals like myself cannot fathom and are not worthy to use it like you and the other fishing gods. Me and Dan are not worthy of such equipment.
