I've fished with Joe, Jimmy, and Matt.
All are Great guys and Great Guides.
Recently I've fished more with Matt mainly because he does the Party boats. Jimmy is so popular it's hard to book him. He stays very busy with all his repete customers. I lOVE FISHING WITH MATT.

After watching a special on Earl Campbell last night, it made me realize that three decades just isn't that long ago.

Also got to see the Bo Jackson special after the Heisman Presentation. Only wish that he would have stuck with baseball.

Smittys was NOT in Downtown Dallas. It was on the corner of Jefferson and Beckley, in the Heart of Oak Cliff! Big difference. Loved to go to Smitty's! He would listen to my tales of big crappie and bass in Bachman and White Rock Creek, then pull me aside and say in hushed tones, "You got a couple gems there, i wouldn't advertise it that much."

I sure miss that place!

I may have to go hit it with Lakeguide as soon as it tips over 40 degrees.

I thought it was in OC as well. Spent every dollar of my allowance in that shop when I would go to work with my grandpa.
