The last couple of weeks I have been cleaning and replacing the hooks on all of my crankbaits. The wife came in the mancave the other night and suggested we hang them as ornaments on the christmas Tree, verry expensive tree ornaments at five bucks or better a pop.

Good looking tree and nice collection, probably a few trees at Fork look like that, minus the lights and pine needles but add a little mono.

Now that is cool. I think I'll get some of mine out tomorrow.

That is awesome looking. Wish my wife would let me do that. Where did the Santa ornament come from? I like that.

Kinda funny you mention that, I did not fall into the tree but when I walked by not paying attention a DD22 with brand new KVD Mustad hooks reached out and grabbed my pants without my knowledge. Then when I sat down this DD22 again hooked my pant leg in a much lower part of my pants leg and when I stood up this impaled the hooks of one on the treble into my leg. I was home alone and could not get up and walk to retrieve the necessary equipment need to undo this situation (diagonal Cutters, scissors, and pliers) so I called a friend some 20 miles away to come over and assist me in this time of need. Well we cut the pants and the hooks so I could remove my pants and then with a sharp pull with the pliers I was free. I then decided all the crankbaits on the lower part of the tree need to be moved inward 6 inches so this does not happen to someone else. Damm, that hurt.....

Russ, not sure, the wife has always went shopping for leftover xmass decorations the day after Christmas and some where along the way this showed up, i think she got it at Hobby Lobby.

this is how my folks have done theirs for years now. Big ol floppy hat atop the tree, poles sticking out as arms. Kinda looks like me when its all said an done. lol
