I've been anxiously waiting for the temperature to go down. It is that time of the year that I really go out and fish.

I'm sure I'll eventually run into you again out there Rudy. Even though its elbow to elbow fishing most of the time in some areas, its still good to run into old friends and familiar faces. I cant wait!

I'm at WRC. There's about 10 people fishing here already. Only one caught a crappie so far.

Like temperature was 62 two days ago. They won't run up the creek in mass numbers until the water hits about 55.

Remember that the Crappie are very sensitive to the barometric air pressure in shallow waters (IMO) Might be why only one person has caught one fish.

My rule is two days after a cold front - the fish will settle down again. The day after a cold front, the barometric air pressure is going to skyrocket

Some people out there had some luck catching crappie using minnows. But I didn't have much luck catching them. No keepers at all.
