Yes I caught ten keepers. Couple spots held a lot of fish but had to work for the most part. Lots of 9-10" fish. With game warden messing with guys down there I threw back 2 that were an even 10. Not worth a ticket

Was it the grey haired female one? I walked up on her a few weeks ago she was eating lunch in her truck looking at me in the mirror when I walked up I said how are you sir? Then she spoke!

He/She didn't write you a ticket for interrupting his/her lunch?

They even wrote a ticket for people seining for minnows for not having a PFD on while seining. I didn't know there was a law that required you to have a PFD on while seining???? This was at the main lake.

No she didn't I was at the second launch point first one was full at the second one there is that big drop down to the water while I was fishing I found a better one just down from that one so I pulled my yak up there and walked down to were my truck was parked.When I walked up she was looking at me in her mirror I swear looked just like a guy so I spoke didn't take long to switch from sir to ma'am lol. Actually she was really nice was asking about my tailgate extender then asked if I caught anything told her I only got 2 small bass didn't keep either then I went down to load up and she came down and checked out my yak probably talked to her for a good 30 minutes or more and she never even asked to see my fishing license lol

She might've been suspicious as to why you weren't coming in where you'd launched. Either that or she may have had the hots for you

Sounds like the kind of "fishing" she was doing doesn't require a license ... you stud you!!!

After getting a refund on the 2 broken rods, I bought another pair of rods. This time around I didn't go for the cheap stuff. Ended with a pair of 5'6" abu garcia cardinal tournament grade rods for $32 each from wally world. That's expensive (to me) compared to the pair of daiwa samurai rod & reel combos I got at Dick's for about the same price. Took the new rods to the creek this morning to test them out. It was a drizzly wet morning & I was actually the 1st one there at the boat launch. Unloaded & motored up the creek. Got to spot #1 & commence to vertical jigging. The rods did not disappoint. See pic below for results.



18 crappie & a sandie. Only 2 crappie were caught via jig/bobber. Top left crappie was the monster of the day. Only 13", but a fatty!

That Game Warden's Name is Shelly and she's really nice. She will cut you a ticket so watch your P's and Q's.
