how has this not already been done before? It has in a sense, Tru Tungsten, Picasso, LFT, and a couple of others have some form or have had some form of tungsten jigs. Either the hook was lacking, styles were limited or whatever that to my tasse were not the one so to speak. The LFT came closest to me but I have not seen any in years and the Tru Tunsten was great they just used a cheap hook. granted i realize these would not be for everyone but the guys that really throw jigs or ore big time flippers will understand what i am trying to come up with.

About the only need I see for it would be to reduce the size of the head. In heavy grass situations that might be beneficial, but outside of that I don't really see the advantage. So plus and minus, small market niche. But if you built it right you could lock it down. No one else seems to be doing it. And no, I'm not planning on doing it

I could see it being good in a finesse jig around rock, just because it's so much harder than lead. I knew BPS made a tungsten jig for awhile but it's been discontinued. I think the $5 price tag, scared some people off.

BUILD IT and they will come....
Also what about using a light wire to install skirts instead of a rubber band that wears out. That is how I make all my jigs anyway now. That's exactly why I use the jigs I have. They are wire tied instead of that cheap, wear out way to quick rubber band.

I have no use for a tungsten jig. I don't use many tungsten weights.

Terminator made that jig with the strip of tungsten in it back in the early oughts. Caught my PB of 11.4 on one but I really don't think it made a difference. Seems odd to me that people would buy a $15 crank/topwater or a $1 weight but would be afraid to buy a $5 jig tho....
