Aside from the fact they're only open Fri-Sunday and you have to confirm a spot for your boat, what are the top 2-3 tips you'd recommend?

Really looking forward to seeing this lake first-hand.

Replies appreciated.

Just take it easy when you get on the north side of the lake. Been catching some really good fish around the little creek.

Don't unhook your boat from the trailer until you are in the water. Seen a couple dumped on the pavement.

Not really.. I'm fishing the tourny there in two weeks and I don't mind giving advice because any part of the lake can and will turn out a good sack. Its pretty stinkin simple this time of year. Flip and pitch trees until your blue in the face.

That ramp is not that steep. They must have slammed the brakes or something..

Bit of advice, they are redoing the road and if you have bald tires like I do you the steep hill on the other side of the turnaround is a bear.. Almost didn't get up last Saturday.. Was a lady walking up the hill so was takin it slow and didn't realize until the the tires broke loose and I started sliding down it backwards. Got up it just needed a little speed..... For the record got new tires yesterday lol
