 Lake Grapevine fun tournament!

Me my dad and a buddie of ours from our bass club went to Grapevine this past weekend and had a little fun tournament. My dad caught his first Tx smallmouth and I got my pb lake fish I got a 6.30 on a suspending jerkbait on the dam my buddie got a 3.70 on a jerkbait also and my dad caught two nice smallmouth one was a little over 3 and one was 1 and 1/2 both on citrus shad crankbaits plus we had other dinks throughout the day and some nice slots! I just knew that last weekend was a good day to try
some fishing. Y'all did pretty good.
we need some rain for that lake, but the bass don't
seem to mind.

My dad caught them both, but before I could see the fish they fought so hard I thought they were both catfish at first!

Once you get the smallmouth bug, it'll be very hard to shake. After stripers, give me smallmouth any day!
