Out of curiosity,how many hybrids had the state been stocking a year?

Had the privilege to fish with long time guest Greg and Blake ... Blake has been under the weather and Greg wanted to get him out on the water ... Truly a good friend . They couldn't start till about 8:30 am and we where off the water by 10:45 am cause Blake was ready ... The fishing was pretty steady when we started , and picked up as we where getting ready to leave ... Not much to report ... Find fish on the graph , do your thing and catch fish ... I can tell you this ... Pay attention to your graph ... If the depth is 30 ft and you are marking fish on the graph in 25 ft .. Reel up a couple cranks and hold your slab still every now and then lift sloooowwwwwwly we used the double rig today and caught a few on the top but most on the slab ... I have been using the SSS from www.moestackleshop.com cause of its weight but compact size , if the winds were calm I would use the mini fiesta in 1/2 oz . Plentiful and Huge whitebass today , Only one hybrid and a couple yellow bass .. Water temps have moved up 58-60 degrees , I fished nothing but deep water cause of what time I started .. Winds were nice at start 10 Mph S but picked up to 15-20 , all fish released to fight another day

Great shots, I heard about your good guests today. Your a great guide J.V. Hubbard is a better place because of your guide service and the fact you are a proactive person. You and several others on TFF and Hubbard are doers and true givers. Thanks for the report, fishing is getting good. I plan on getting out there again this week sometime.

Good report JV. Hubbard is giving up some huge sandbass.

Nice report JV! I also did pretty well, but I went even farther south. I too used the triple s. They're really starting to fatten up out there. Just needs to stay cool for a steady pace.

Nice report, JV! Planning to take my pastor this Friday. Havent fished the home lake since our last RHSA meeting.

JV nice seeing and talking to you out there. Was a shame your client wasn't feeling well. Hope he gets better. JV took the time to text and call. Not just me but several of us. Appreciate the efforts. At the end of the day we all want to put more fish in the lake and we want to catch more fish out of the lake! I've said it many times before we have a great fraternity of fishermen... It's contagious too as you read reports from guys and groups from the other area lakes One day we need to have a big fishing tournament with several lakes involved and split the proceeds. Gene what are you going to do with all that money! Happy Fishing...
