The Barometer dropped so Janice and I tried it for just two hours. We did not have minnows. We fished Bobby Garlands and Slab Bandits for about an hour and 20 minutes. Not a bite. I could see fish suspended at 15 feet. Out of frustration I switched out of the plastics and tied on two hand tied feather jigs. We put eight real nice fish in the boat and left them biting.

Anyone here sale feather jigs? I'm interested in buying some since Mr Dutch had a success at it. I was checking the barometric pressure and it was at 29.82 this morning. Yesterday was at 30.92. I hope barometric pressure drop tomorrow and the cold front doesn't affect the fish. Thank you for the report.

One of the biggest mistakes made crappie fishing is the inability to change tactics. Just because something worked yesterday, or this morning, doesn't mean that it's still the way to go. Good move in trying something different!
