Moving up there day after xmas and working at my office in Richardson, TX. Im not to familiar with the area. I know there's a lot of lakes up there. Eventually I want to join a bass club and maybe get into some tournament fishing. Just wandering if any areas are better for a bass fisherman to live.

Thanks for any help!

Anywhere around the airport or north puts you close to several lakes.

McKinney/Allen/Fairview/Lucas puts you close to a number of lakes and the office. Rockwall/Forney/Fate option a good one too.

If you move into Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney you will access to some of the best private lakes for bass fising in the Collin County area!

+1 I live in Fate and drive to Addison for work. You have two options 635 or the bush. It's not that bad of a drive.
