I like Santone, Viper XP, Dirty Jigs, and the All Terrain (grass jig)
I also like Picasso football head jigs when I use skirts that I make.


I also have some rockcrawler football head jigs but haven't tried them yet. They look very good.

On my flipping jigs I choose a jig with a stand up type head ALWAYS because when it is on bottom I don't want the hook lying on it side, I want the hook standing up, pointing up at the fish, and that is why I choose Santone and Viper XP. Both have the correct length weed guard and big strong hooks.

Toadwrangler jigs are the best I've used. Dirty jigs are second.

There are so many jigs companies and many offer unique styles and colors. I would say the best jig for each type is the one with what you are looking for in a jig. The type hook being probably the most important. Trailer keeper is a major concern for me. A shirt is a shirt. What sets them apart is how it's attached. I prefer the shirt tied with either wire or braid. The trailer keeper is the biggest headache. So, to ask who makes the best, yea Ford and Chevy, but both have a model that will fit your style of driving. The thing about jigs is you'll find higher quality is the smaller companies than on the shelf models!

Not sure on the name of the jig, but by far my favorite jig is made by the Bass Professor on lake fork. That jig has caught me some HUGE fish any time of year. Really enjoy fishing it in 30' of water. Never miss a hook up because the hook is seperate from the body of the jig. This way you can hook a large trailer weedless.

I'm gonna have to dig around a little better!! I want to see them! Lol!

My vote is Santone. Talon has some excellent product as well! I use both with 100% confidence!!

I've seen half a dozen double digits and a 70+ pound blue cat all caught on an Oldham's Jig and have never seen one bend or break. I'll use them til they quit making them.

Jewel with the big hook...but it's the jigger, not the jig!

I mostly use my own hand tied jigs, but the best for sale jigs i have seen are those Talon. I went to there factory down on Toledo Bend where they are all made and was very impressed with them. Best jigs i have ever seen and i have seen all of the other brands mentioned above.
