First off I didnt kill it lol...I was driving down our lease rd back to our location and saw it dead in the road, so I took a picture of it! I guess one of the oil truck drivers ran over it lol

why kill good snakes ? they eat the mice an rats an bugs. I know you said it was already dead but too the other guys. unless it's a rattler a cotton mouth or a copper head leave it alone they play a great part in Texas! ..... I'm a snake lover an catch the rattlers an copper heads too there so beautiful but i agree with killing them if need be
everyday is a learning experience ....... if your not learning why try ?

LOL We like to call them Rattle/headed/copper/mocassins. This is how it gets used in a sentence Holy **** did you see that snake? Back up, Back up! (As we are getting out of truck and walking up to it) Dammmmn it's a rattleheadedcoppermocassin! Here's my Iphone, video me while I catch it. LOL

I only kill rattlers, copperheads, water moccasins and coral snakes if they are near my house, mainly for the sake of my dog. Anywhere else I leave them to do their thing.

Anything poisonous thats on property or near pets/family/friends gets dealt with. Minus aggression, non poisonous snakes get a pass as they help the ecosystem and keep things in balance.
