I am currently using 15# P-line floroclear on a Quantum KVD signature reel. Most of my bait consists of soft plastics but also like to use cranks and topwater when felt needed. I'm mainly going for Bass and Catfish. My main issue is the memory being horrible in the P-line. Any suggestions

Buy some KVD line and lure conditioner.

Buy some KVD line and lure conditioner. Try this first! You might also consider downsizing to 10-12lb test. I did this a few years ago and it helped me.

I certainly understand staying with the test you mention fighting catfish. Good Luck!

I quit using Vanish due to the memory and lower casting distance. I currently use Trilene and tie on a 4-6 foot floro leader.

I have been fishing that line on two of my reels for a couple years and like it a lot. Use for Jig & Trig. Replace 2x/yr and keep indoors. Have had no problems.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

If you are wanting to stick with an inexpensive line, then the p-line cx premium would be a good choice. It has less memory than the floroclear.
