Yea glasses are a must. I didn't realize it until I watched a buddy bury a pop-r in his eyeball. On one hook visible one pulling eyelid out and other well you know. He was a mm away from being blind. That's what the doc said anyways. He has a caterack (not sure about spelling) now. Every since then I have worn glasses rain or shine. You can get shooting glasses on cloudy days.

This is another reason why polarized contacts would be stupid. I had a fish throw a worm hook back at my face hard enough to put a crack in the lens,lord knows what would have happened had i not been wearing them or worse,been wearing contacts.
