I'm not happy with the Sherman schedule..... Been fishing it since the start. Ray roberts in January?? No T in February or April?? Took out Lewisville. Just don't get the early start and skipping months.

I like the pick 6 division, add one of the belton dates the the remainder of the corsicana division and you have one sweet central texas trail right there.

GLASSANGLER,

We have made a change to the Sherman division (which also affects the Ft Worth division). We were unable to have an April tournament for the Sherman division due to conflicts with other major tournaments (Fork Mega Bass, TXTT on Ray Rob, and BC on Ray Rob), and the availability of our equipment (especially our live release tanks). There is a tournament mid March and early May, though. I hope this helps.

Sherman Division
Feb 16 - Sherman - Texoma
Mar 17 - Sherman - Texoma
May 4 - Sherman - Texoma
May 25 - Sherman (+ Wichita + FTW) - Ray Roberts
Jun 16 - Sherman (+ Wichita) - Ray Roberts

Fort Worth (FTW) Division
Mar 30 - FTW (+ Corsicana) - Whitney
Apr 27 - FTW (+ Abilene + Wichita) - Possum King.
May 11 - FTW - Eagle Mtn.
May 25 - FTW (+ Sherman + Wichita) - Ray Roberts
Jun 9 - FTW - Eagle Mtn.

We have done our absolute best at trying to stay off of other tournaments. We can't miss them all, but please know that we have tried very hard. When we have to reschedule one tournament, it usually means we have to reschedule four or five, and we are trying very hard to not do that.

I hope the schedule works out for all that want to fish with us!

Chris

Gilly 62,
Go to the BLT website www.budlighttrail.com and click on the 2013 schedule and scroll down just under the divisions schedule. You will see the Championships listed there.

FYI---We are considering adding another Championship near the Sherman/Breckenridge/Ft. Worth/Dallas divisions.

Popcork,
From all the feedback we have received thus far, most anglers would prefer another Regional Championship versus having two boats in one Grand Championship.

Reasons given by anglers:
1) Helps to make sure, if the Regional Championships are spread out, that there will be one near where I live
2) Gives me two chances for winning one boat versus one shot for two boats.
3)The Grand Championship may not be on a lake I am familiar with.
4) I would like to be able to fish in more Championship events.

After giving it much thought, we have decided to wait till after the Texoma Grand Championship and make a decision on scheduling a Grand Championship or adding another Regional Championship in 2013.

Thanks for asking,
BLT staff

Glad to see the change in the Sherman division away from RR in January, although I liked fishing on Sundays. Looks to be a mix of Saturday and Sunday this year. Looks like no conflicts with RHBC so we may be there.

Brandon,

Do you feel a Grapevine and Lewisville Division in 2014 would draw enough anglers top make it worth while for the anglers?

We might consider this in 2014.

Kyle,
Thanks for your thoughts about Sunday tournaments versus Saturday. We decided to go with Sundays in our Shreveport Division because most all of the other trails in Louisiana were on Saturday. We felt the Sunday division may provide an opportunity for the anglers who work on Saturday to fish with us. Also, we thought those who are not sure about giving us a try would be able to continue fishing the Saturday trails and still be able to make a few of ours on Sunday.

We will bring this up again with the anglers who give us a try in the Shreveport Division.

Thanks,
BLT staff
