I drive a LOT for work, and need to get decent gas mileage. So I drive a 4 cylinder Tacoma and get 24-26 mpg. Almost bought an aluminum boat, but found out about these Stratos boats (176XT) that are light and inexpensive. The little Taco pulls it just fine. These were taken bringing it home a few weeks ago, I've since added a prop rod to support the motor better.

Ok, I guess I am fairly close to you, live in Boyd. Just bought 2004 Stratos PRO 275 XL (17') with 90HP Johnson, so am interested in what you think after a few outings in yours! I am brand new/old fisherman....haven't fished in 30 years and my first every bass boat. My 'ride' is 2008 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton crew cab. 5.7L V8 so it pulls fine. Been a long time since I scrubbed mine down really really well and then clay bar'd and waxed it. The paint was starting to feel a bit rough to the touch so I spent about 4 hours on it this afternoon to keep me off the insanity at the lake and she looks great again.
