Had no one take advantage of a rare Saturday opening, wind was up a little and but was glad to see who it blew in. Yep, 'ole Chase made the trip down to fish on Waco with Spud. Battled 20-30 mph winds and gust higher but found the fish in 30-35 foot of water. Lots of good eaters with a 20lber to boot. Sunday had Julian booked for some Waco Blue's. He was looking for his new personal best. Weather was absolutely gorgeous for fishing! 5-10 mph breezes from the West to Northwest, blue bird sky's so if you fish alot meant tough fishing.......nah. Ended the day with alot of eaters for Julian to take home with a few nice one's and a new personal best. Fishing is going to just get better and better as the weather turns cooler. Book now for your dates. Gift certificates available. Great Christmas gifts!!!!!

Nice job spud. I was also out on waco Saturday and it was a rough windy one. We caught a few fish but nothing over 10 lbs. Spent more time looking for bait than fishing. Do you have any suggestions of where to find bait on waco? Glad to see you had a couple good days.

Hey big 10, head up in the rivers to find the bait or back of coves. Of course there is always the bubbles. At the bubbles let the net sink all the way down to the bottom. Big thing is to use your graph and look for the bigger shad, if you have side imaging or down imaging it makes it alot easier.

Thanks spud. I looked in the back of a couple coves and creeks and basicly found nothing. I will check the bubbles next time.

Waco is a good little lake, was glad to see the slot limit put on this lake. There is a qood quanity of good quality blues in her. With the weather cooling off, going to show what all she as to offer here in Central Texas.

Only a 3 dates left in November and already booking dates for December and January. Don't let the Central Texas lakes fool you, we can and will produce nice trophy fish as well and a whole lot less crowded too! PM or email me for any information.

Good report. I took a trip with Fishhauler once and liked the lake. Speaking of which is Fishhauler ok? Not seen him post.

Yep, haven't been on the forum for awhile. Been dragging my girls and our horses around for barrel racing all spring and summer. So many new people here but glad to see my old friends are still here too. Lakes are the way I left them in early spring.....producing and producing well. Congrats on your lake record BTW! Tell your man hello too.
