RaptureMan, the few times I've fished Grapevine I've had some luck in three areas that are easily reached with a kayak. 1. On the west end of the lake in both coves of the Marshall Creek side. 2. In the timber at Twin Coves. 3. Brush pile off the point just north of Meadomere cove. I just stopped fishing Grapevine because of all the boating traffic but its got lots of crappie and the sand bass were very willing to jump in the boat. Also caught more than a few perch, blackbass and even a couple of smallmouth.

Guys...some folks keep the honey holes secret and others don't. Just try to remember that family disagreements don't stop you from being family. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Seek first to understand. Peace and luck to all!

I like to look at the lunar table if you have an I phone spend $5.00 and but the Isolunar app. It will tell you when the best time to fish for your specific location. As long as the weather is stable I find I usually catch more fish at the given time.
You might catch fish all day but I catch better quantity and quality when the moon is right usually.
