They took care of my boat. Bob at Worldwide Marine made sure I had the right coverage. They denied my RV damage. Same as they do with some on boats. Pre Existing conditioned caused the damage.

Update-The adjuster went by Texas Marine and looked at the prop and bent shaft and gave them a check for the total less my 500 deductible. great experience with first claim!!

I just bought a 2002 Triton TR-21 from a very reputable dealer. I trust the guy and don't think he would let a boat go off his lot with transom problems. Unfortunately my first outing, I hit a floater that extended across the entire boat lane.

I insured with Progressive and the process is going very slow.....and it's not looking good so far. I sure hope it takes a turn for the better, but the adjusters phone call sounded a bit like they were going to F**K me. He says the transom damage has been over a span of time..........BS......If you hit a tree with a car and smash your front end, it's from the impact of the tree right?? This is as stupid as saying, that front end was pushing in over a period of time and is not a result of the crash.

You must not be insured through Worldwide Marine and Bob Luellen. Progressive is great to deal with, if you went through Bob.

Best in the business, imo.

Have had Progressive for both auto and boat policies for some years now. Have never had a boat claim to pay out, but on the auto policy, they took care of the hail damage to my old truck without any problems.

I just got a new policy from Progressive. For an extra $100 a year my policy covers any mechanical breakdowns with a $250 deductible. Policy was $200 a year less than Foremost even with the motor coverage.

Now, they screwed me on my RV repair. As soon as I sell it, I won't use them again.

[quote=Crankjig&drag]What your opinion on progressive ins?

Run From Them They Wont Pay Off If your boat is stolen from you been in court now for nearly 2 years and 20 grand on attorney and still nothing but he says they will pay in time but what if I did not have other boats to go and play and fish in what if it was my only boat then where would I be and what if I did not have the money for the attroney? Just think before you go with them]
