I'm pretty sure the property owner can have a guest bring a boat.

I already sent a email to the.hoa director asking why it was decided that it needed to be 14 days. I received no response though

Origianaly it was 3 days quarantine to kill the Zebra muscles, but now it is 14 days, they dont like the idea that some of the people living there fish other clubs and lakes.

Locking your boat for 14 days would not work with me at all so if your boat leaves the community even if you don't use it at that lake they will lock it for 14 days or will they remove it and put it on Everytime you go in and out? That's enough to make me never even think about looking for a house there.

So, you don't consider "the fishing club" locals? You're sure not the TPWD.

They will lock it for 14 days upon entering the lake that is if you have it registered with them. Then you have access after the 14 days to the lake. Once your boat leaves the community you have to start it all over again if you want to have access back into the lake.

I know a couple of guys that won first and second from Kiowa in every roadrunner tournament their club had. Problem is, used to, the boat had to be registered in the name of the property owner. It's an awesome looking little lake that dumps into Ray Roberts.

Trust me, it is not a constant level lake. I have a landscape company and I have been out there several times in different years where you could walk from boat dock to boat dock and the people with them on lifts were just out of luck. During the summer personal watercraft are evrywhere with kids that do not care if your fishing or not.

Constant level is a term given to the practice of maintaining a body of water at a specific elevation. No natural body of water has a constant level. While some fluctuate more than others, all natural bodies of water change on a daily basis, some rapidly during floods. Few man-made reservoirs have the ability to be maintained at a constant level as evaporation, drought, water use and/or flooding affect elevation levels.

Hey Brad, they just put in the hybrids to eat the over abundance of gizzard shad so I would not think that they restocked the gizzard shad. the 14 day thing is stupid

I fished it about 8 years ago and had a blast. At that time I was able to bring my boat in for the lot owner to buy. Of course he didn't buy the boat but I was stopped by the local guard and asked to leave after about 2 days of fishing. I found Black bass schooling at night by the boat ramp light. If I had property there I wouldn't need a trailer to have it locked to. fish

The Hybrids were put in to eat the large gizard shad not my choice to put them in there, but it is what it is I guess and yes smaller gizard shad and threadfin shad were purchased and stocking is not done by the state since it is a private lake.
