Just not sure if my boat will be out of the shop, I have been promised it would be ready Friday, but, I was promised it would be ready by the 15th, and the guy was on vacation last week, so we will see,

I did get the floor on the brown boat repainted with Tuff-Coat and it is ready to go as a backup if I need it, but I don't have any rod holders on it,

I may have to bid on a seat on the toon, I think I saw where it would hold 13 passengers, maybe I can be one of them!!!

Ill be there all day it looks like! Bank fishing from there wont be the best... and prob not any biggens... but you can prob catch some channel cat pretty easy.

Ill prob bring my boat and if nothing is going on.... take some guys out fishing if they want to go... its gonna be cold and wet though! so be prepared!

Follow the road in towards the lake, you will see a bait house type of building, the road goes to the right and it should be right in there.

I ended up staying at Holiday Marina. It was REALLY windy.

It was nice to meet some of the people that I havn't met before, and really nice to see some of the ones that I havn't seen in a while,

I just wanted to thank everone that came out to the get together. I had some messages in my PM'S That I did not know I had untill last night.My phone keep shuting down on me with no service while I was out at Tawakoni. That was ok I guess, It looked like everyone made it to the campgrounds ok.
It was really good to put some screen names with some faces,It was really nice to meet all of you. The water was not up,and the BIG Fish were not ready yet.ER 74 won the big fish pot with a little over 20 pounds.After licking my wounds.(Finally talking to my wife on my friends phone too.) I started to have a second wind about the time everyone went to bed, about a handfull of us was still standing.Then Cathog (Gary Motes)broke out the guitar ,and that Man can pick a tune even with a few Bud Light Limes / in em. After a few trys to get everyone to sing along,and the passing of a Jack bottle.I called it a night ,and fell asleep to laughter,and some Gary Stewert.
A very special Thank you to Larry Thomas (Larry in Tawakoni),and his family for cooking for us. The food ,as allways was exellent.
We got up to frost on the Boat Sun. set out with a diffrent game plan caught some nice eaters let a few go over 10 pounds .Got back up to Cedar Cove about 4pm ,and everone was gone.Hope everyone made it home safe.

We appreciate all the work you put in to the event. i appologize on having to leave ealry. I got a migraine that had me seeing stars. Still hurting this morning. Can't wait for the next one.
