one of the boats im looking at is in georgia matter of fact. as far as letting on about being a new boat owner..its hard for me not to let them know, because its just the way i am. im slowly learning what to check when i go look at them. the boat in georgia is really nice(at least in the pics) and i know people can alter pics or send the wrong ones. he is in the military and goig overseas and cant take the boat. hes already been willing to knock 300 of the price to help pay for the shipping or fuel if i was to go get it
don't trust pictures 100% - those pics could be 6months to several years old and most people won't send/post pics of things wrong with the boat. do not let your emotions lead your head (job, moving, babies to feed, etc) - I'm not bashing anyone, but unless you have money to just throw away, put your common sense cap on. if your cap needs tweaking - get someone who can help you out. also, draw up a buyer/seller contract. you can't force someone to sign it - but if someone is trying to screw you over, they will outright tell you "NO!"

He's in Oklahoma so y would he check with Texas or TPWD ????!!!!!!  I would check with Oklahoma offices myself.........

I would check with Oklahoma offices myself......... kevin, you should know better...i was raised in oklahoma  http://www.dmv.org/ok-oklahoma/boat-registration.phphe doesn't "need" a title - but without one he will have to provide a notarized bill of sale, or file as the boat being abandoned and with that it could take some time and be a PITA. sorry, if someone can't provide a title to a boat they are selling, then what else is wrong? just my 2cents

Lakelass I wasn't knocking Oklahoma.......I graduated high school in OK....... I was trying to figure out y everyone was saying Texas and TPWD when he is in Oklahoma..... I bet he don't give a rats patootie how it's done in TX! Lol

I dont think you will like the motor All this for nothing.....Forget that boat! That motor is a POS! The little pink corvette in the yard is worth more.

we can see you are looking for something budget conscious for a first time boat owner - but trust all of us, this is not it! everything in what he wrote screams "SUCKA". unless you are a small engine master, have supplies to repair more fiberglass and about $500 to drop right away to get it up to par (plus tag and title fees in OK), just don't do it. keep looking and heck, make a post in the classifieds section here on TFF that you are looking for a boat, what your needs are and how much you can spend. there are lots of guys with time to kill that might be able to help you find something. kevin, it's ok - i know you are from OK too and therefore i can give you a hard time
