I need a cheap and fast way to construct some bank rod holders. Anyone have some information?

I use rebar, and PVC. Can't get much easier and cheaper than that.

1 and a half inch pvc and some 30 inch rebar and hose clamps. You can get all at lowes or home depot. i made 24 of them for 50 bucks and they work great

I also use pvc and rebar. It works great. On some of them I had to use 2 inch pvc because the rod handle was bigger.

i usually go backing with 10 foot rode, i angle them and lay them on the ground, i've yet to lose a ten foot rod, it will get drug a few feet before i get to it, and i always tie them down with a stringer or trotline rope, i prefer the line to be on the surface of the water and noty standing 10 feet in the air 1 because of waves pulling the line moving the weight, 2 wind, 3 its easier to see the initial bites

Thanks Kevin....those pictures help. I got me 4 two piece MH Ct Claw rods that go in my wife's car of the back of my fore runner. I grew tired of the 400 mile round trips with boat in tow down to the in-laws.
