Pretty good cold front coming in Sunday. Those Dunlap Rios just may be harder to find.

Outside thermometer said 52 degrees. That along with the cold north wind blowing over that Dunlap water will have those Rios scattered for sure. Oh well this has been a good year form em. Saw lot's of catches posted this year. cheers

Gonna get back into the 80's by the end of the week. Hopefully a few Rios will still be around. hooked

Rio Grande Cichlids are native to the Rio Grande and it's drainage, and thru out South Texas and NE Mexico. They have spread into the Central Texas-Hill Country region and SE Texas all the way into parts of Lousianna.

Well Stated and very true however the Texas Parks&Wildlife does not consider them a native Texas fish. Go figure! nuts
