I know it was a tough bite for alot of the guys... However, there are plenty of good fish in the lake. I have been fishing it consistently for 28 years.... Plus, it was good for the businesses to see the business. Between the fires and the Golden Algae is has been tough for them.

We also have to remember that part of the challenge for Bass Fishing is the challenge to catch those green fish! I hope to see more trails come back to PK!

Likely because nobody has the advantage on the lake since not on alot of trails. It s not about how big they are or how many, it's about who puts it all together for the win.. Great lake choice

It was on pk this time but it was on chambers last year. I don't remember any ofthe western clubs whining then.

Fun and Sun did good with the lake choice. They helped a local economy that could use a hand. They have gone out of their way to try to give something to the Texas bass clubs that has been missing ever since Honey Holes program went under.

Like mentioned above, it was out east last year on a lake few of us (granbury bass club) had any experience on, but we loaded up and headed to chambers to give it hell.

I hope that all the clubs in Texas will consider joining the BCT and help this organization grow. They have made it clear that if enough clubs are involved, they will be giving away a boat in future events.

We will be back next September, regardless of the lake! Congrats to Fielder Bass Club on the win!

As will we. We are not whining about the choice. It was a great opportunity to support the businesses in that area that took it on the chin with the fires. We gave it our best shot. The lake fished tough for most as the results show. We'll go wherever the event is held because it's a great reward for the guys who qualify and the FNS guys do a great job with it. I would rather have it somewhere where the fishing is a little better than most teams experienced this weekend was my only point.
