It's a Longear Sunfish. That picture LoneStar posted is a Green Sunfish.

They (longear) don't get very big but they're beautiful fish!!!

On the other hand, Green Sunfish can get HUGE!! We're talking up to 4lbs in the right conditions. They are mean little guys! I've seen one up to about 2lbs inhale a 9'' Zoom Lizard. No joke! shocked
