I am looking for a used boat and I have seen some with Mariner motors I was wondering what some of y'all thought of those motors. While I'm asking any opinions on Force motors. I already have had negative feed back on both motors but thought I would ask here. Thanks for honest opinions......
Then there is no problem finding part for Mariners?

Mariner and merc are one and the same just like johnson n evinrude
Late model forces are OK, very simple motors. Some of The early forces are getting hard to get some parts for

Then there is no problem finding part for Mariners? Same as a Merc. I had a Mag II on my old Ranger 372V and virtually every part on the motor had a merc stock number. Mariners were like Johnsons back in the day. Same as it's more famous brother.

I bought a completely rebuilt '96 Mariner 200 in February, so I'd assume parts are still readily available for them.
