Had some extra time on my hands so i decided to build a kayak dolly. wheels were on sale at harbor freight for $5.99. I didnt have to pay for the pvc but i would estimate it to be around $25 worth of pvc.

took my daughter for a ride

Looks great I build one close to that one you have. Does it not make hauling the yak easy and the bigger tires are great for uneven terrain.

Nice I dig that, does it come apart for storage inside the Yak?

I am going to say it doesn't come apart for storage.

You could also put up two "goalposts" on it to run into the scupper holes like some of them use. wink

I can't see it so what you used to secure it to the yak?

That looks great! I built one from the plans that seem to be on every kayak forum these days. Pretty cheap, actually. I have about $25 in it. Here is mine. I like the handle for placing the cart under the yak.
