I have Cabela's Guidewear and Simms. The Simms are way expensive, though. Guidewear or 100mph for best of both worlds, price and functionality.

Would love to have the Simms. They are just way to expensive. The 100mph line is great. I have had the same set for about 3yrs.

I am sure Ill get ripped but for a really well priced set I have to top of the line Frogg Togss and they have been awesome. WEar them fishing and to Cross Country meets when it gets cold and have loved them. They are the big name brand but I have washed them and had no problems, they are wind proof, water proof and warm. Payed way less than for the other stuff.

My Guidewear is at least 15 years old and still performs as new.

I buy large bibs and an extra large jacket. They fit great. I'm only 5'10" but I'm kinda broad in the shoulders and narrow at the hip, NOT!

How does the guidewear fit, tight or loose? I'm 6'5 and its hard to find the right fit. I would make sure I try the stuff on...The last thing you want is to spend that kind of money and not have it fit you right. I wear XL-Tall bibs and XL Parka...6'1" 225. Bibs or a jacket that bind you up suck! A jacket that gets in the way all day sucks too!
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.
