gr i never laugh so hard as at the boat ramp.

Sunday afternoon at Belton was no better. I had backed my Carolina Skiff down to fill up the bait tank with lake water since my buddy was out catching the perch we were going to take to Tradinghouse for Reds on my boat the next morning. As I was sitting there letting the tank fill up, I saw all kinds of pleasure boaters and bassholes doing several crazy things. But the craziest of all, was at the top of the ramp in the circle. There were folks with incoming trailers headed in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions, with only a one lane gap between them for me and another guy to come back up the ramp. And they were giving me dirty looks even though there was no one at the top until 2 minutes until I finished my filling. It was as if I were the bad guy for delaying their precious lives for 2 minutes. The time it took to fill my 27 gallon tank was less than most folks spend launching and loading. Holidays are pretty much only good for one thing around the lakes....to see a lot of asses and I don't mean in bikinis!!!!!!!!

Ummm sorry but I kind of see their point. I know it might be hard to get the water into your bait tank, but the launch ramp is the "LAUNCH RAMP". If someone is filling up a 27 gallon bait tank in a lane of the ramp that would be pretty irritating to most, and would probably take a little more than 2 minutes.

Not trying to piss you off, but maybe you could try to look into another system for getting the water into the bait tank so as not to inconvenience others. I apologize if I read your post wrong, but it did sound like you were taking up a boat launch lane to fill a bait tank during the busy part of the day.
