I never drag a curly tail plastic worm or throw a spinnerbait anymore.
I want to start mixing a spinnerbait in with the squarebills that I've been using, but it's hard to put the squarebill down!

LMAO. This is one of those posts I was talking about. I just seriously dropped my drink on the floor. Lol. Seriously, I never rule any bait out. I may not throwing a certain bait but of it gets me bit, I'm all in. That's just me.

All my lures, they think I died about 12 years ago. They don't know I took a time out to raise my family, but hoperfully we will be reconnected sooner rather than later............

That's funny bout spinnerbaits- I need to use those more-bass get shy of them pretty quick and they are dang boring to throw but since nobody uses them...

That's funny bout spinnerbaits- I need to use those more-bass get shy of them pretty quick and they are dang boring to throw but since nobody uses them... The Spook has the voodoo on me. I have about a half a dozen of them, both regular and baby, and have thrown them on numerous occasions. I don't think I ever had a fish even give them a look much less strike at one. I even went fishing one day when it was cloudy, overcast, and drizzling rain which should have been a perfect day for this. I had made up my mind I was fishing with a Spook until I boated a fish. I fished for quiet a while that day with nothing to show for it at all and eventually tied on a jointed Rebel and started boating fish immediatley.......I'll take up this battle again though........

The spinnerbait for me too this year, haven't thrown one in a while. Like others I have been chunking squarebills or shallow divers where I would throw a spinner.
My partner chunks a spinnerbait alot though, if he was ever seriously out doing me with it it would pick one up, there is always one tied on in the rod box, just hasn't been out on the deck in months.
Of course there are lots of techniques I just don't use, but that's one I used to use a good bit that has been back shelved.
