I just moved to the Athens area from the Denton area and looking for some places to Noodle catfish. I was going to go to cedar creek between malakoff and Trinidad but don't really know any good noodling places around here. I anyone know some good creeks or lakes to Noodle?

Neches and Sabine look real good. The fact there's gators is why its not for me.

I hear ya I will have to check them out as well I'm not too worried about gators. I've always said that though my dad always tells me you'll be worried when they grab ahold of you.

Anyone notice all the noodlin holes that have come out on Lewisville, with the lake being down?

Right now is the time to ride around on Cedar Creek Lake & look for spots since we are about 3' low. Already have my eye on a couple of places. Now if I can just grow the set that I will need to reach in there this next spring if the lake comes up.

I'm already getting fired up about noodling next year. Hopefully they have more tournaments. Lots of people around here are wanting to go noodle and release their first catfish.
