Uhhhh, I thought this was on the 3rd Thursday of each month. That be the 21st me thinks. Next week not this week. But if'n it is moved to this week, I'll be there. Confirmation of date?

Uhhhh, I thought this was on the 3rd Thursday of each month. That be the 21st me thinks. Next week not this week. But if'n it is moved to this week, I'll be there. Confirmation of date? Ooops, maybe I'm still a little goofy (hush Paul)!!!  Yes, next Thursday the 21st!!!

 for tomorrow night. Hoping to see a good crowd. We're trying to decide if we want to keep going this or not. This is a great opportunity to learn how to make your own jigs from scratch. Dave, Paul, and myself have been doing this for sometime and we can teach you all of the basics of pouring, painting, and tying your own crappie jigs. We might even share a tip or two on how to catch a crappie. Jerry, Dave and Paul,
My son, Adam, and I were at Cabela's last night and took up all of your time making crappie jigs. I just wanted to thank you all for being so gracious with your time and helping get us started making our own jigs. Adam is 11 and loves fishing and is now obsessed with making his own jigs. I can't wait for him to land one on a jig he made himself. Thanks again for the great information and for taking the time with us. We'll see you all next month.

The pleasure was ours, Joe. Looks like Adam has the makings of a jig tying addict. That is a good thing. Take my advice and go ahead and build another addition to the house to hold all the jig tying material.....

Joe Ahhh Joe, you got it backwards me friend! Paul, Jerry and I come to Cabelas just for the reason you came. There is nuthin better for us than to see a dad & his son or daughter visit with us and learn how to tie jugs. Y'alls visit made our day! Will surely enjoy seeing you & Adam next month at Cabelas!!! Adam is a natural at tying dem jigs! Listened well and tied some nice jigs on his own! Lookin forward to hearing some stories of CRAPPIE CATCHIN on his very own jigs!  Thanks for coming!

 Okay, hopefully I read the calendar correct this time. THIS coming Thursday will be our monthly jig tying GTG at Cabelas in Allen. I hope to see a good crowd. 7PM in the fly fishing area.
