Well I tried some of this stuff out and found that it frays and nicks VERY easily...I've snapped more line and tossed lures across pond because of this stuff...gonna go to Seguar abraz-x

Everybody has to find out the hard way. 1 spool is enough. Pure garbage. The 100% floro is good, not great but good.

I have snapped off DD's mid cast in open water a couple times using this stuff. Waited for my bait to float up and kept fishing with it. Then my girl friend had a 6 pounder snap her off at the boat on fresh line. That was the last straw. I threw the last half of the spool away and re-spooled the reel.

It's a copolymer line, not a flurocarbon. Never had it break.

I must be unlucky then because it frays and breaks too easy

It's not as strong or abrasion resistant as a true FC,but it does handle well.

Seaguar is the way. I only use leaders but I fished with it for a year (red label leader material) and caught some monsters using 15 and 20 lb test. not bass but this stuff works!!! no break offs knot strength was crazy!

I am a P-Line user and I have found the Floroclear to be unreliable. However, the CX and CXX have been great lines for me.
