PP first, then the hydrowave. On a windy day by yourself you can stop and retie or unsnag a lure without winding up where you don't want to be.

Power pole or SI. I know those two items will be very usefull the HW is subjective to opinion since its really hard to put on paper concrete proof of it doing something to justify it. Not saying the HW doesn't work but I can't say for sure it does. SI will help you find fish holding structures and things fast and PP will help you stay in place once you find them and need to stay put. If your fishing in water deeper than 10ft but have 10ft deeps withing a short distance you can always hold yourself in the 10ft water and cast to the fish deeper. In fact thats how I fish a jig in 30ft water on main lake points in the summer months is hold the boat in 8-10 foot on the end of the point and cast to the 30-35ft water and bring the jig back towards me.

I wish the PP would sell for the price of the Hyrdowave.

My budget allows the Hydrowave.

I will throw an anchor for now.

I love them both and cant imagine fishing without either. My tools go in this order 1)Great Mapping (Navionics). 2) Power Poles (Expensive but the best money I have spent in a long time) 3) HydroWave (It seems to make a difference too often, if not every time, to go without it). 4) 36v Trolling Motor (Those extra 12 Volts are a game changer). Get out your wallet because new "Must Have" stuff will keep coming out. Oh yeah, I love having a hull and motor.

if you have no fish catching abilities and need a hydrowave to make you think you are able to catch fish, then take up another hobby. like deer hunting next to a feeder.

power pole, i have one- but with one you cant hold facing the wind without running tm all the time. but 1 works great too- hydro-wave i am waiting for more feedback.

i bought mine the hydrilla gear, (i think i spelt it right)best price i found- no del charges.

How deep do you fish? If you fish shallow, say the depth of your power pole then it will be more useful. If you fish deeper than an power pole will reach then the Hydrowave is more useful.
And then the most important aspect is that the Hydrowave is a lot less expensive than just ONE power pole.

Question is how much shallow stuff can you fish?

Get an I pilot and a Hydrowave if you fish deeper than 10'

That's just me and my boat has them all.

Convenience are two listed and fish catch are one.
