Perfect example. Just a map for a buddy of mine of the LBJ Natiional Grasslands with fishing locations, routing, etc. Task would have been a whole lot easier with better collaboration features, basic data entry screens, and data merging capabilities. Kind of features that you'll only get with custom apps.
Also kind of sucks that google allows only a bit over 200 locations before it forces you to a new map page - half my spits show up on one map and half on the other. Fortunately when you bring it up on Android and iPhone, that's not the case.

Appears to be an arbitrary limitation of the data table imposed by google. I can understand that they might want to impose some sort of upper limit - makes sense, but would be nice if it could be configured or something.
Just goes to show the limitations of google maps as implemented to those that aren't developers. On the other hand, I've seen some pretty neat stuff being done from people using the google maps API.

Anyone actually fish here? What is your access point? Looks Like a long walk from 380 and no access from the nearby neighborhood.
33.222040, -96.887945 I haven't fished there, but know others who have. There's an access point that you can't really see from 380. You have to follow the fence line that runs parallel to 380 and walk east, then follow the creek north. It's not real easy to find and it is a bit of a walk. Perhaps someone on here that has fished it will respond.

Hey guys. Is Bright Lake in Castle Hills open to the public? It looks like its part of a golf course but I see it on the bank fishing map. Thx for your feedback.

I live in the neighborhood adjacent to it and drove over to check it out last weekend. Its not part of the golf course but is in the middle of the subdivision. There is a pier out over the water also and is pretty much wide open to walk the banks. The only parking I could find is on the south side of the pond on the street. I'm not sure if its open to public or just for the people in the HOA though so I didnt fish it. Im thinking of looking up the HOA and calling to ask.

I'll give you an 'E' for effort, but that hookandbullet site will get people in trouble. The lakes it shows around Amarillo are all private, mostly owned by companies that wont take kindly to trespassers.

And I will not post locations on my map unless they are public access.
I've said this before, but it bears repeating - if anyone finds a spit on my map that is on private property it otherwise off limits to the public, send be a PM with the name and number (all spots on the nap have a number) , and I'll remove them immediately.
Thanks!
