I really got back at it this evening, I even sent a text out to a friend letting him know that I was half skeerd it might hurt LOL! He said go for it! Several hours later the hand is being iced down, but with satisfaction. My hammer strikes stink, I moved down to a three pound hammer and it was a PETA griping with out the pinky and unstable. It will get better with practice and time. My oldest is showing interest again so he may be pounding some out soon. Since I got a deer permit draw on grapevine I will be right down the lake from you guys about 20' up in tree right near the crick. I'll drop by around lunch time unless I had a heart attack dragging my first deer of the season back to the truck.
