Very good review, I have been paddling a Tuna for a few months now and I love it, the weight does become an issue if your putting it on an SUV like I do. The wind factor can get to you but the addition of a stake out pole, a rudder and an anchor has helped to the point of it no longer being a bother, I am eventually going to trade the anchor for a heavier drag can setup or maybe a mushroom anchor, haven't decided yet. I hear what you say about loading on an SUV. I took it to Mississippi on top of the Expedition. Not bad once you got the front up in the air.
