Just like riding a bike. She knew exactly what I needed and took care of everything. She explained in clear terms for me. It was a pleasure as usual Karen. Thanks!

Today I switched all my Insurance on everything to Karen at State Farm. Sure am happy I did. Treated like royalty and she showed me some things I was needing on my home policy that I thought I already had. She sure is awesome!

I see that this Karen person is a celebrity on here. If I live in Louisiana, can I still go through her?? I'm quite a distance away from Richardson, TX.

I called her, got set up with insurance and then a month later I got a letter saying it was cancelled because of my driving record... Called and she was out of the office but another lady told me it was because I had 2-3 speeding tickets a year on my record. Not sure how that has anything to do with a boat but wasn't happy about it.

Yes, you can call her and do everything via fax machine.
Sorry you are uninsurable with so many tickets. You will find that situation applies across the board with premium Insurance companies.

It is retarded. I'm 27 years old and haven't had a ticket in a year. Have had insurance on two trucks and a house for 9 years and never made a claim or missed a payment, yet I can't get boat insurance?

You have shown by your deeds that you are irresponsible and an insurance risk. A year is not enough to prove you are grown up.

A few speeding tickets means I'm an insurance risk when it comes to a fishing boat? You, sir, are full of it.

That many tickets indicates you are a poor insurance risk, period, and it takes three years for one to go off of your driving record, and FWIW, being dependable and making timely premium payments, has very little to do with your insurability. Ask your agent what you would be paying without the speeding tickets. i think you'll be a little surprised at the answer.

Give Karen a call, she can do wonders! And ... She works exclusively for the company she represents... No phone tag games with other companies!

He's right. If you cant control your speed in a vehicle on a road driven by other people, God only knows what you are going to do in a boat on open water. Let me guess.....is your boat a bass boat ?

Actually he is spot on "correct" and with your response tone You pretty well confirm it from every angle. Your situation will not change until the last ticket falls off the 3rd year from issuance(the day you got it) You receive another ticket and the clock resets to another 3yrs. 34 Years with State Farm and couldnt be happier Progressive,Geico and the like are all low rent scams, their coverage isnt worth the paper its written on come claim time. A few speeding tickets means I'm an insurance risk when it comes to a fishing boat? You, sir, are full of it.
