I know we have some hunters over here. We spent a week on our ranch south of Sonora for a week for work. Odd ends and putting up 3 stands that we built.

This one shows the initial platform then the the prefab put in place minus the roof, I had to build the roof and put it on at dusk. No pics of it with the roof on it.

This is a smaller stand that we use to build for one that I rebuilt and move to a Flats area off of a creek bed.

This is our prized spot on a draw that will hold some water at times. It has a multitude of game come into it. Whitetails, Axis, Turkey, Exotic Sheep, Javelina, and Feral Hogs. Not to mention the occasional varmints that may show up. Anything from Bobcats, Foxes, Ring-tailed Cats, & Mountain Lions every once in a while. Don't see them very often.

Which any of the above could show up anywhere. But they like this area. Man, it was very hot. We worked 14 hour days the last two to get finished. My brother came close to heat exhaustion.

Wow those are some very nice looking hunting platforms you guys built and installed. Should keep you in the action no matter the weather.

Looks like your hard work and effort will pay dividends when hunting time comes.

This is just a suggestion it's what I used when I would build blinds. For the blinds I built in the past, for the floor I would get the old shaker screens off my drilling rig and use them for the floor, that way if rain got inside it would not just sit on the wood and cause rot. So if any of you guy's are interested in some of these screens let me know I can get about 10 or 20 every 14 days. And the best part is I will give them to you and I am working in South Texas just give me a heads up if you would like some.
